When Today‘s live broadcast from the White House is over, here’s what the hosts will be gushing about tomorrow: meeting Bo and Sunny Obama!

And who wouldn’t? Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Natalie Morales, Matt Lauer and Carson Daly were given an exclusive opportunity to fawn over the adorable First dogs in the Blue Room of the White House on Tuesday — and it was a meet and greet to melt over.

“I think we’re more excited about this moment than anything else,” says Lauer, who even got a smooch from “rascal” Sunny.

“From my experience, these dogs, they sort of have the run of the place, they can go where they want, the have a great grounds, they have fun out there,” Guthrie added.

Morales, a dog lover, shared an Instagram of the pups together (which will no doubt go in her Today highlight album!) and the morning show shared another of the cohost getting down to dog-level with Sunny — obviously doing what you do at the White House: discussing official business.

“@NMoralesNBC spending some quality time with Sunny,” Today Tweeted.
