The Zac Brown Band member and his wife Brooke welcomed a baby boy named Charles Robert Cook, according to a photo posted to the band’s Instagram account. Cook himself shared a sweet photo of his new son, confirming that he was born at 7:55 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, weighing in at 8 lbs. and 19 inches long. “This is Charlie. In this picture are the 2 most important things to me in this world. He & Mommy are well,” the musician wrote to accompany the snap showing his son outfitted in a hospital cap and “posing” for the camera while his mom looks on lovingly. “I’m so in love!” added Cook, 38. The couple announced they were expecting on Instagram in May, with a shot of the then-mom-to-be posing next to a window and showcasing her growing baby belly. On Sunday, Brooke shared her own photo of the twosome’s new little man, wrapped in a gray blanket and staring alertly at the camera. “Our sweet Charlie is here and we couldn’t be more in love,” wrote the new mom, who celebrated her son’s impending arrival with her husband at a baby shower in August. The married couple of two years already have a playmate for their son, as Cook’s bandmate Coy Bowles and his wife Kylie welcomed daughter Hattie in October. Charlie’s arrival couldn’t have been more timely, as Cook’s work with Zac Brown Band is on hold over the holidays. The group is off tour until January, when they will next appear at Castaway with Southern Ground 2017.
