Tom Brady Wants His Daughter, 6, to Play Hockey — But Gisele Bündchen Says 'Over My Dead Body'

"Whatever they want to do in life, as a parent, we just want our kids happy," Tom Brady told Michael Strahan in a Tuesday interview at Walt Disney World

Vivian Lake is following in her dad Tom Brady‘s athletic footsteps.

The sixth-time Super Bowl champion sat down for a chat with Good Morning America‘s Michael Strahan Tuesday at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, where he dished on how he and wife Gisele Bündchen encourage their kids to follow their dreams.

“Whatever they want to do in life, as a parent, we just want our kids happy,” said Brady, who’s dad to 11-year-old son John “Jack” Edward Thomas as well as his two kids with Bündchen: Vivian, 6, and son Benjamin Rein, 9.

And like Jack — who “really loves sports” and is “very similar to” Brady — Vivian is “a great little athlete,” according to her proud father.

“I’m trying to get her involved in some things … I’m trying to get her into hockey. My wife’s like, ‘Over my dead body, you’re not putting her out there!’ ” said Brady, 41. “She’s not gonna be getting checked or anything!”

After his sixth Super Bowl victory leading the New England Patriots, the takeaway for the father of three is that he hopes his kids “follow their dreams.”

“I love bringing my kids to training camp. I love bringing them in the locker room after the game, carrying my pads in,” he said. “At different times, they say, ‘Daddy, is this the Super Bowl?’ My daughter [says], ‘Is this the Super Bowl, Daddy?’ I’m like, ‘No, it’s week 9!’ ”

“Football success is one thing. Being a good dad, being a good husband, being a good friend, that’s really important to me too,” Brady shared. “I’m someone that cares about people. I’m very much an introvert.”

After leading his team to victory against the Los Angeles Rams at Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta on Sunday, quarterback Brady held his daughter Vivian, who was all smiles and decked out in Patriots gear, while on the podium.

With some help from Dad, Vivian excitedly held up the Vince Lombardi Trophy, which the Patriots earned by besting the Rams 13 to 3.

The bevy of cute kids on the podium also included Brady’s sons Benjamin and Jack (his only child with ex Bridget Moynahan), as well as Patriots coach Bill Belichick‘s 2-year-old granddaughter, Blakely.
