The Today Show Co-Hosts Bring Their Kids to Set for Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day
Savannah Guthrie, Dylan Dreyer, Craig Melvin and Carson Daly all brought their adorable kids to set for what might have been the cutest broadcast to date
Savannah Guthrie, Dylan Dreyer, Craig Melvin and Carson Daly all brought their adorable kids to set for Thursday’s episode, where they helped their moms and dads put on what might have been the cutest broadcast to date.
In one “co-hosting” segment, Guthrie’s 4½-year-old daughter Vale and Melvin’s son Delano, 5, sat at their parents’ desk with mugs in front of them, smiling perfectly for the cameras.
“Do you wanna say ‘Good morning, everybody’?” Guthrie asked Vale, who gave her mother a resounding “No!” — but without losing the big grin on her face.
Delano was more willing to address the audience, giving a sweet, “Good morning!” at his dad’s request and telling viewers his name and age before showing off his mad counting skills.

Daly’s son Jackson James is already a television natural. The 10-year-old slid up right next to his dad, seeming totally comfortable as he read a news story right into the camera.
“This 3-month-old hated tummy time, so her parents found a perfect way to their solution: They put her on the top of their robot vacuum and let her roam around the house,” he expertly narrated a cute clip of a baby riding around on top of the device.
“She seemed to enjoy the ride and even cleaned the floors at the same time. Seems like a win/win,” Jackson quipped in conclusion, thanking Guthrie, 47, when she complimented his inheritance of “the family talent.”

“So excited. The big five-oh,” Cookie Monster said of the iconic education children’s series’ upcoming 50th anniversary.
More exciting? Cookies, of course — and Calvin and Delano got to do the honors, gifting their guest with the treats and laughing as he shoved them wildly into his mouth.
And while Calvin might not have been the most vocal of the young bunch who visited the set Thursday, he did reward Cookie Monster with a big high five.
