Thymes Sweetleaf Baby Line: That Baby Smells So Sweet!

The Sweetleaf Baby collection from Thymes is a complete suite of products for baby’s bath — and keeping the nursery smelling sweet! The line is lightly scented with organic herbs and essential oils like chamomile and lavender that leave a soft, gentle scent that’s never overpowering. The baby wash and shampoo is tear free and has a light rose and jasmine scent that’s soft enough that it doesn’t smell too girly on my little boy. The line also features bar soap, baby lotion, massage oil, diaper balm and an instant hand sanitizer. Each product is dermatologist tested, gentle on sensitive skin, and free of parabens the other bad stuff. They can be purchased individually or in beautiful gift sets.

The nursery products are amazing, too. They have drawer liners and a nursery mist, but our favorite product is the nursery diffuser ($40). It’s a glass bottle of scented liquid that comes with bamboo sticks that fill the air with a soft, baby-powder scent from powdery rose and jasmine, to sandalwood and amber. You control the scent by adding or removing the reeds and flipping them over from time to time to expose more of the oil to the air. It’s an innovative way to keep the nursery smelling fresh without the danger of burning a candle. It’s not childproof, so it should be placed out of reach, but the subtle scent is gentle enough that I’m using it in our nursery.

I don’t use baby powder but I still love that baby-soft scent. This collection is a way to make that nursery smell like an idyllic, peaceful little nest for a silently snoozing baby, however unrealistic that notion may be!
