Celebrity Parents The View: Melania Trump's easy delivery By Staff Author Published on April 6, 2006 05:17 PM Share Tweet Pin Email by auditioning CBB contributor Kristin Just two weeks after the birth of her son, Barron, Melania Trump appeared on the The View to share her birthing experience. Barron William Trump was born on March 20, and weighed in at 8 1/2 pounds. She went into labor nine days early, arrived at the hospital on Sunday evening, and her son was born at 5am, Monday morning. She said that the birth was "very, very easy," and that "of course" she had an epidural. Although husband Donald Trump chose not to be in the delivery room to witness the birth of his son, he’s proven to be an active father. Donald gets up with Barron in the morning, reads the newspaper and watches TV with him. Melania did add, however, that when it’s time for little Barron’s diaper changes, Donald replies with, "It’s time to see Mommy."
