Celine Dion has been performing her Las Vegas theatrical production A New Day… since 2003 and recently spoke to Newsweek about her daily routine the last four years and how she finds time for her son, Rene-Charles, 6.

The first year was exhausting for Celine as she had to get used to her new schedule and the constant pace of singing and performing took its toll on her vocal cords that she couldn’t communicate with Rene-Charles or her husband, Rene Angelil.

The typical night for Celine now is finishing her show at 10:30, showering, eating a snack and driving back home to her family. While most kids see their parents during the day, Rene-Charles spends quality time with his mom late at night.

When he’s not doing homework, Rene-Charles seems to be taking after Celine, belting out songs courtesy of his new video game console.
