"Simone loves Doc McStuffins – the cartoon is so colorful and fun. So we loved the idea of using it as the theme," says Horn. 02 of 10 MINI CAFETERIA Frances Iacuzzi Photography Horn and Masterson – a.k.a. the Guncles – used miniature containers from Kara's Party Ideas for their kid-friendly food table, which featured bite-size dishes (Chilly's Chicken bites, Hallie's taters, Stuffy's stuffing balls, Doc's special mac amp cheese) inspired by the show's animated toy characters. The pretty pink-and-white banner was designed via hip online stationery company, Minted. 03 of 10 DOCTOR'S ORDER Frances Iacuzzi Photography Forget yucky medicine! Guests including Lisa Rinna, Beverley Mitchell, Tia Mowry, Jennifer Aspen, Marissa Jaret Winokur and their families enjoyed sweet treats (gumballs, rock candy and more) from vintage-style pharmacy jars. "We created our candy bar inexpensively. We found the jars on Ebay and the colorful candy at Oriental Trading," says Masterson. 04 of 10 PARTY ANIMALS Frances Iacuzzi Photography After changing out of her scrubs into an equally cute white doctor's coat, Simone made sure to spend time with Tori Spelling's daughters, Stella and Hattie McDermott, as the trio show off their face paint. 05 of 10 CHIC REFRESHMENTS Frances Iacuzzi Photography "We wanted to keep the drinks simple and beautiful so we used this work bench we found at our local flea market for $40. We gave it an antique-y feel with gray paint and then dressed it with banners from Minted," shares Horn. "The self-serve station also included mini Mason jars with flower-cut lids and oversize drink dispensers on Rosana cake stands filled with a margarita recipe we found on Pinterest." 06 of 10 GRAND VISITORS Frances Iacuzzi Photography Horn's dad and mom, Norris and Mary Alice Horn, and Masterson's mom, Jacquie Bennett (in the patterned dress), also got in on the fun at the joyous affair. And they added cake stands from Etsy shop A Fabulous Fete, and white crates from Michael's to showcase the amazing cookies (they're shaped like band-aids and thermometers!), cake pops and cupcakes. But it was the giant clipboard from Pottery Barn Kids that really took the station to the next level. "After the party, we're moving it into Simone's bedroom to add a fun design element." 10 of 10 FRIENDS FOREVER Frances Iacuzzi Photography "We can't imagine throwing a birthday party without Jenny. She did Simone's 1st, 2nd and now 3rd birthday," says the couple. "Having her in our home is a family tradition! And we also use her for all of our celebrity family events (Santa's Secret Workshop, Corolle Dolls, etc.). Her talent and creativity are beyond compare." Here, Jenny takes a sweet snapshot with the birthday girl.
