'The Challenge' 's Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols Welcome Their First Baby, a Boy

Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols have welcomed their baby boy!

The Challenge alums — who got engaged in 2019 and tied the knot in a small ceremony in March — welcomed their first baby this week, Nichols announced on Instagram Friday.

Nichols shared a photo from the hospital on his Instagram Story, a close-up shot of himself holding the newborn's hand.

Compono provided further details and photos on Sunday, confirming her son's name is Anthony Joseph Nichols.

"We would love to introduce our baby boy Anthony Joseph Nichols, born on September 2nd 2021 at 8:52 PM. He weighed 8 pounds 14 oz and was 21.5 inches," Compono wrote.

Compono and Nichols announced that they were expecting their first child earlier this year on Valentine's Day. The couple originally planned to get married on Feb. 13, but postponed their nuptials due to the pandemic. They opted for a private, "mini" ceremony in Michigan on March 13.

The couple revealed that same month that they were expecting a son.

The pair, who are also The Real World alums, met while making MTV's Battle of the Exes II back in 2014.

Nichols proposed at New York City's Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in December 2019. "I was so surprised! We went to see the tree every year since we met and a lot of memories have happened in New York City. I was so surprised and it was so sincere and sweet. I couldn't be happier," Compono told E! News at the time.
