Leo Thames Newman, meet your godmother.

With a week off from her 1989 World Tour, Taylor Swift quickly jetted back to Los Angeles for an introduction to Jaime King‘s second son, born July 16.

“Meeting my boy,” the singer-songwriter, 25, captioned a photo of herself cuddling the newborn. A second image of Leo Thames’ hand curled around Swift’s included the lyric “Your little hand’s wrapped around my finger and it’s so quiet in the world tonight…” from her song “Never Grow Up.”

King also shared the photo, writing, “My loves meet. Baby boy Leo Thames and his God Mother = Bliss.”

The former Hart of Dixie star previously explained to PEOPLE why she chose Swift to be her baby’s godmother.

“She’s such a beautiful human being,” King, 36, says. “For me, in regards to a godparent … that is a really sacred thing.”

The actress adds, “It was because of her morals and her values, the way that she treats people and how hard-working she is … her family and how close she is to them. I see what she gives out there to her fans and to her family. That’s the kind of person I want to be the guide and the spiritual protector of my child.”

King and husband Kyle Newman are also parents to son James Knight, 21 months.
