Who you gonna call?

On Saturday, Tamera Mowry-Housley and her husband Adam Housley hosted a birthday party for their son Aden John Tanner, who will turn 4 years old on Nov. 12.

The Halloween-appropriate theme? Ghostbusters!

While the birthday boy opted not to wear a costume, 16-month-old sister Ariah Talea donned a toddler-sized Stay Puft Marshmallow Man outfit while the siblings’ parents sported traditional Ghostbuster uniforms.

“Aden is obsessed with Halloween. His birthday is actually on November 12th, but I wanted to take advantage of having a Halloween costume party. It was adorable,” Mowry-Housley, 38, tells PEOPLE exclusively of the celebration.

She adds, “And of course he’s obsessed with Halloween costumes 364 days of the year, but on this day he refused to wear one.”But his giggles of happiness made my day.”

The party was held at an outdoor park area outside of Del Rey Church in Playa Del Rey, California. Featured entertainment included a magician and magic show, face painting and one very special necessity.

“Here’s a hint for happy children on birthdays: Always have a bubble machine,” Mowry-Housley jokes.

Guests — including Mowry-Housley’s siblings Tahj Mowry and twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardrict — noshed on traditional snacks with spooky names: “Quicksand,” A.K.A. hummus, “Flesh and Bones” (lamb chops), “FrankenGuac” and “Mud Burgers,” to name a few.

“Thanks to all our family and friends who came to Adens’ spooky 4th b day party,” Mowry-Houseley captioned an Instagram photo of the family gathered around Aden’s mummy cake. “Ariah didn’t want to wear her hat and Aden did not want a costume. #ohlordhelpme.”
