The Punky Brewster star is already setting up play dates between Wyatt and her new son, Lyric
Soleil Moon Frye knows a thing or two about parenting. The former child star has two daughters with husband Jason Goldberg — Poet, 9, and Jagger, 7 — and just last year, gave birth to her first son, Lyric.
“He’s such a good boy. And having a boy after two girls is such a different adventure,” Frye, 38, told PEOPLE at the Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Friday (where her show Home Made Simple won for Outstanding Lifestyle Program).
“I thought for sure we were having another girl. But it’s so different. He tumbles and you let him tumble. He rolls over when he falls. He’s a little man. It’s so crazy,” she says.
And little Lyric may already be getting set up for famous play dates! Frye’s friends, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher (who is Goldberg’s producing partner), gave birth to their daughter Wyatt just four months ago.
When asked if Wyatt and Lyric have had any play dates yet, Frye replied, “We have, yeah. I’ve certainly seen the baby. She’s absolutely beautiful.”
But first things first, which for Frye meant leaving the Creative Emmys early to have a mother/daughter adventure with Jagger, who was by her side at the event. “My daughter’s on her school camping trip. So we’re leaving the Emmys and going straight to camping. In our gowns and everything,” revealed Frye.
However, there was one topic that got the duo even more pumped up! With shows like Full House and Twin Peaks returning to TV, could there be a Punky Brewster continuation in the works?
“I would be so into it! I love Punky. She’s a big part of my heart. Bring Punky back,” the actress said before turning to her daughter and asking, “Jagger, what do you want to be?”
“I want to be an actor. And I want to be my mommy,” she said.
“See, my daughter would be so happy,” said Frye with a laugh.
