2007 Holiday Project Auction: Baby Jamz toy package

Mathew and Solange Knowles (Beyonce’s dad and sister, of course) have launched a super-cute new toy line just in time for the holiday season. Baby Jamz is the first ever hip-hop/rhythm-inspired preschool toy line that promotes learning, creativity, and movement through music.

A true family endeavor, Solange can be heard singing many of the nursery rhymes featured with the toys, and her son Julez is pictured on the packaging.

The line includes a Nursery Rhymes CD, filled with hip-hop adaptations of classics like “This Old Man,” and “Old MacDonald”; a Mix Master Chair; a Boom Box Shape Sorter (which is currently sold out!); a Dance Mat (think DanceDanceRevolution); a Cell Phone and a Key Chain set. All are available exclusively at Wal-Mart and Walmart.com.

You can bid on all of the products (a $90 value) package as part of our Holiday Project, benefiting the Newman Breastfeeding Clinic & Institute (NBCI).

This year’s project, A Month of Auctions, benefits the Newman Breastfeeding Clinic & Institute (NBCI) atthe Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, run by worldrenowned breastfeeding advocate and pediatrician Dr. Jack Newman. Theprimary function of the NBCI is to assist breastfeeding mothers andtheir babies with breastfeeding challenges. It also provides clinicaltraining for pediatric residents, medical students, nurses, andcandidates for those who intend to become International Board CertifiedLactation Consultants. As the NBCI no longer receives funding from theCanadian government, it is in danger of closing, having already reducedits hours. Even though the center is in Canada, their work and websiteis an amazing resource to all nursing mothers and those who wish tohelp them.
