Before she became a mother, Scarlett Johansson imagined that magical moment when she would meet her daughter.

Fast-forward to when Rose Dorothy was born, and that baby in the actress’s dream was nowhere to be found.

“When she came out of me, I was so surprised,” Johansson, 30, says in the March issue of W magazine.

“I had a very strong picture in my mind of what my baby would look like. And, of course, she is completely different.”

The first-time mama adds, “Perfect, but not what I’d imagined.”

But the tide has since turned: These days, Johansson has trouble envisioning any other baby girl than her 5-month-old daughter. “Now, of course, I can’t picture her any other way,” she says.

Life hasn’t slowed down since Johansson welcomed her first child with husband Romain Dauriac. And although she has seen incredible success on the big screen, there’s one movie role that remains on her bucket list.

“When I was young, I would talk and everyone thought I had a cold. But when I went out for films, they loved my voice,” the Avengers: Age of Ultron star says of her deep tone.

“I actually visited Pixar, hoping that they would use me for a cartoon. They didn’t. I was ripe for the picking! What happened?”

She jokes, “Now they have to give me a cartoon! I just called them out.”
