Sarah Wright doesn’t need National Take Your Child to Work Day when she can take her baby boy to work every day!
“Everybody’s like, ‘Bring in our mascot,’ so he comes in and hangs out with us all,” Wright, 31, told PEOPLE during a press day for her new show on Monday. “It feels less like, ‘Okay, work’s over here and family’s over here.’ “
And when it comes to bedtime, Wright, who’s still nursing, finds comfort in keeping her son close. Wyatt co-sleeps with Wright and her husband, NCIS: Los Angeles star Eric Christian Olsen.
“He’s such a happy baby where he’s smiling first thing in the morning and I open my eyes and he goes, ‘Hi!’ ” says Wright. “It absolutely kills me.”
She adds, “He has the face of my husband in a tiny body.”
Baby Wyatt may be a mini version of Daddy, 37, but Olsen is confident that he can attribute his chatty personality to Mommy.
“We gave him this stuffed animal and he would say, ‘Duck duck,'” says Wright, “and it was a duck, but he’s always like, ‘DUCK duck,’ and that’s the tone he uses.”
The Olsen family is getting all bundled up this holiday season as they head back to Jackson Hole, Wyoming — where the couple wed in June 2012 — to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with family.
“It’s gonna be great,” says Wright. “My mom and dad, and my brother and his wife and their two kids are all going to go up together.”
