Salma Hayek is so confident about the nurturing that George and Amal Clooney‘s twins will receive, she doesn’t feel the need to share parenting tips with the first-time parents.

“I have no advice because his wife is Lebanese like me and I know his mother-in-law and his sister-in-law and I know those kids cannot be in better hands,” Hayek told PEOPLE at a special screening of her new film, Beatriz at Dinner, in New York on Tuesday night.

Hayek and the two-time Sexiest Man Alive, 56, starred together in the 1996 thriller From Dusk Till Dawn.

Hayek’s titular character in the film is decidedly low maintenance. When discussing the contrast between her role and her real-life seemingly glamorous existence the 50-year-old joked, “It’s more similar to me than any role that I’ve played. Actually, [screenwrite Mike White] wrote it for me, but it’s one part of me that you’re not used to seeing in the other characters that I play. It is the closest thing to me and it looks the closest to me when I wake up.”

Beatriz at Dinner hits theaters on Jun. 9.
