This isn’t an illusion: David Blaine is going to be a father.

Blaine, 37, and his French model fiancée Alizee Guinochet are expecting their first child together, the New York Post is reporting. The illusionist, best known for his endurance stunts, like depriving himself of food for 44 days while suspended above London’s River Thames, reportedly told partygoers the good news at a recent rooftop cancer benefit.

The baby is expected next year.

And Blaine apparently plans to pass on his skills to his child: He reportedly gushed to party guests that he was excited to teach his first child some magic.
