Celebrity Parents Why Rascal Flatts' Gary LeVox Is a 'Toddler and Tiaras' Kind of Dad Rascal Flatts' debut Christmas album "The Greatest Gift of All" is now available for purchase By Nicole Sands Published on November 30, 2016 04:50 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Rascal Flatts‘ fans will have some extra cheer around the house this holiday season. The American country trio sat down with PEOPLE Now recently to discuss their full-length Christmas album, The Greatest Gift of All. “It just seemed like the time was right,” says bassist Jay DeMarcus, 45. “We’ve done several other one-offs before, but we’ve never done a whole record, so it felt like the right time to do it.” The 10-track album puts a country spin on several holiday classics, including “Deck the Halls,” “Joy to the World” and “Silent Night,” which is particularly meaningful because it includes some very special collaborators: their own children! “Brittany and Brooklyn sang on it, and Dylan and Maddy and Jagger and Devon and Rocky, so it was just awesome to have all of our kids on something that’ll live on forever,” says Gary LeVox, 46. And turns out LeVox’s 16-year-old daughter Brittany Kay is following in her father’s footsteps and pursuing a musical career. “His daughter Brittany can sing,” said DeMarcus. “It’s amazing.” LeVox is the first one to admit he’s that dad from Toddlers and Tiaras. “You know what was funny for me was watching Gary while Brittany was singing,” DeMarcus continues. “He completely got nervous and turned into a stage dad.” Added guitarist Joe Don Rooney: “She finally kicked him out!” Rascal Flatts’ The Greatest Gift of All is available now.
