Rag and Bone Bindery: Beautiful and Environmentally-Friendly Handcrafted Albums

I can’t think of a parent who doesn’t love receiving a beautiful photo album. These albums from Rag & Bone Bindery are sure to make parents life-long devotees of the brand.

Each book is hand-cut, hand-bound and hand-tied right here in the USA (Rhode Island to be exact). The environmentally-friendly books are also entirely green — the paper and glue are acid-free and the covers are made out of cotton (reducing waste).

Because they are hand-crafted, each album can be custom-designed as well. Though there are a number of products to choose from, my favorite from the line is probably Baby’s First Book, a memory book for baby’s first year. The ribbon-bound book contains 24 fill-in pages such as “How Mom and Dad met” and “How we picked your name.” It also includes a vellum envelope to keep mementos from that special first year.

I also loved the Growth Charts which would make an awesome gift alongside a matching album, like the accordion books.
