The Swedish royal family is expanding again – just 10 months after the newest member arrived.

Princess Madeleine and her husband, British-American banker Christopher O’Neill, are expecting their second child next summer, the royal court confirmed Friday.

“We are very happy and look forward to welcoming a new member to our family,” the couple, who were married in June 2013, said in a statement.

The princess, 32, delivered their daughter, Leonore Lilian Maria, on Feb. 20 in New York City. It is expected that Leonore’s sibling will be born in Sweden, as Madeleine plans to spend the summer in her home country, her representative explained.

The announcement comes a day prior to Princess Madeleine and O’Neill, 40, attending the Swedish Academy’s holiday gathering with the rest of the royal family in Stockholm on Saturday.
