EYE LIKE ... EH, MAYBE
During an Easter day visit to Sydney's Taronga Zoo, Prince George squealed with delight when he came face-to-face with his namesake, George the Bilby. But the 9-month-old had a very different reaction when presented with a stuffed toy version of the rat-like marsupial – he threw it on the floor. "He does love it honestly," said his dad Prince William.

FUR KEEPS
Friends forever! After a successful playdate, Prince George finds another new pal in a cuddly stuffed wombat gifted to him by the family's Australian hosts, Lady and Sir Peter Cosgrove. Is there a family resemblance? Prince William earned the nickname Wombat as a tot, so the plush toy has even more adorable meaning.

PEDAL PUSHER
When he's ready to explore Kensington Palace, the 9-month-old will have a wheely good time on the bicycle presented to his parents after the opening of a new velodrome in Hamiltonn, New Zealand. Plus, he'll be perfectly accessorized with the matching cycling top and helmet. "Kate was saying she is looking forward to when George would be able to ride it," John Struthers, founder of bike-makers Avanti, told reporters.

FLYING HIGH
Prince George will be well suited for father-son adventures with his pilot dad in the handcrafted, child-sized flying helmet that was specially made for the royals in commemoration of their visit to the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre in New Zealand. Crafted by leather helmet-maker Terry Lamb, the deer napper leather is lined with cream possum fur – which is said to be as warm as a polar bear's coat.

BON VOYAGE
He's on a boat! Well, not quite yet, but the future sailor can test the waters in his custom miniature Sealegs, an inflatable, amphibious contraption that took four weeks to make before its unveiling in New Zealand. Prince William and Duchess Catherine (who took part in an Auckland yacht race) were "astounded" by the gift, Sealegs chief executive David Glen told reporters. "They cannot wait for it to get to Kensington Palace. But they have to work out where to use it. The Duchess said she regretted he was not here to give it a try now."

SK8ER BOI
A modern prince needs a little street cred, which Will and Kate's little boy will earn once he masters a few tricks on his cool green skateboard, a memento from an activity center in Elizabeth, South Australia. Decorated with two kangaroos and two Australian flags and personalized with his name on the underside, the gear will remind him of his first "official" duties.
