There are parents out there who’ve mastered the skill of detecting it. For lack of a better term, we’ll call them Pooface pros.

Pooface. It’s the face a baby makes when he or she is filling a diaper for you – and Pampers has released a new commercial celebrating it.

It’s strained, sometimes wrinkled, sometimes cute, but always the signal of future unpleasantries. The baby care brand filmed 10 babies for the spot, which is directed by Olly Blackburn and set to Strauss’s “Also sprach Zarathustra.”

The unindoctrinated lucky ones who watch the video and are baffled by what exactly is going on here should take a moment of pause themselves.

Because even if you don’t need this right now – as the single, childless you sips margaritas with your iPhone on a white sandy beach (we’re not bitter) – keep this handy. In a few years, you’ll be very happy you did.

Why?

Because a dirty diaper that is detected early is always more pleasant for everyone involved.
