PBS Debuts New Kids Show, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood

Using Mr. Rogers' neighborhood as inspiration, PBS Kids launches a new show aimed at kids 2 to 4 years old.

For more than 40 years, the lovable Mister Rogers delighted us with his signature songs and visits to his whimsical world of make believe. And now a younger generation will be treated to his successor: Daniel Tiger, who will be asking his preschool pals “Won’t you be my neighbor” with his own cool new animated show, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.

Featuring nostalgic nods to the original show (including the mini red trolley and Daniel’s red zip-up sweater), it’s centered around the 4-year-old cub’s daily life as he deals with disappointment and overcoming everyday obstacles from a deflated soccer ball to smushed snacks.
