Paz Vega Confirms Second Pregnancy, Says First Trimester Was Tough

After months of speculation, Paz Vega confirms she is expecting her second child and admits she is on cloud nine! Thrilled about the upcoming arrival, the Spanish actress — who is four months along — reveals that, while the first trimester certainly took its toll, she is ready to relax and enjoy her growing belly. In an interview with Europa Press, Paz says,

“I’m doing really well. The upsets from the first months have passed — a couple of months that were really hard — and now, to enjoy!”

In an effort to avoid — or at least minimize — sibling rivalry, the 33-year-old reveals she is already including 21-month-old Orson in the process, explaining to him “that there is a baby in my belly.” Admitting her son is still “very small and doesn’t know what I’m talking about,” Paz is not discouraged as her baby boy lays his hand on her bump and will occasionally stroke it. According to the proud mama, a burgeoning belly may quickly become a common sight for her family! “A pregnancy is a marvelous moment that I would love to repeat and repeat,” she says.

Already lining up future projects, Paz shares she will be back in front of the camera shortly after welcoming the new baby. “I am going to try to recuperate as quickly as possible and start work, well my work is always there,” she says.

Orson and baby-on-the-way are Paz’s children with her husband, Orson Salazar.
