Oakland A's Mike Piazza welcomes a daughter

Oakland A’s catcher Mike Piazza, 38, and his wife Alicia, 34, a former Baywatch actress, welcomed their first child on Saturday.

Nicoletta Veronica was born at 4:07 am in New York City and weighed in at 5 lbs, 8 oz, and 19 inches long. "Mother and baby are doing fine," according to a rep.
