Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi isn’t known for holding back her opinions — and her experiences with motherhood are no exception.

In the latest clip from PEOPLE’s Mom Talk series, the former Jersey Shore star gets real about the relationship patterns she notices among modern-day moms, and how she wishes they were vastly different — namely, that the judgmental attitudes and rudeness would stop.

“Some moms are so judgy, and they make you feel like crap,” Polizzi, 28, says. “I like to empower all moms to lift each other up.”

“I have a friend who calls them ‘sanctimommies,’ ” chimes in Orange Is the New Black‘s Alysia Reiner, 45, who has a 7-year-old daughter named Livia Charles. “Because they’re sanctimonious about their [parenting techniques].”

Polizzi — who is mom to Lorenzo Dominic, 3½,  and 19-month-old Giovanna Marie — adds that it’s important for fellow moms to understand that they all have the same end goal, even if their paths vary widely.

“We’re not all the same — we do different things, we parent different,” she notes. “At the end of the day, we’re all moms, and we take care of our kids.”

She also makes it known that she appreciates when her fellow moms are honest and down to earth, like Reiner and the other moms in the Mom Talk group, Ginger Zee and Selenis Leyvia.

“I’m so happy you guys are normal moms,” Polizzi says.
