The star couple dish about their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret

Nicole Kidman often stars in films that aren’t age-appropriate for daughters Sunday Rose, 7½, and Faith Margaret, 5.

So when Mom and dad Keith Urban attend a glamorous evening event in Manhattan, what are the kids up to?

“Hopefully, they’re at the hotel watching Shrek right now,” Urban, 48, told PEOPLE at the Museum of Modern Art on Sunday, where he and Kidman walked the red carpet hand in hand for the premiere of her new film Genius.

The country singer attended the premiere to support his wife, who plays Aline Bernstein: a tough-as-nails costume designer who has a tumultuous affair with author Thomas Wolfe, played by Jude Law.

And as the Australian couple had recently done such a great job lip syncing to one of Urban’s tunes in their car, the real question was: Do their kids also lip sync to his music?

“Do they, baby?” Kidman consults Urban.

But apparently, there is nothing silent about the girls’ adorable act. “No, they sing, and play,” reveals the actress.

Kidman and Urban recently celebrated 10 years of marriage. When asked about their relationship dynamic, Urban — who just released his new album, titled Ripcordrevealed to PEOPLE in May that the twosome are “pretty goofy.”

“I mean there’s no question that that’s what we’re like,” Urban said at the time. “Anybody that knows us on a personal level knows that’s exactly what we’re like most of the time.”
