The 98 Degrees frontman and his wife Vanessa Lachey (whom the singer actually shares a birthday with!) welcomed their youngest child, son Phoenix Robert, 10 weeks prematurely on Christmas Eve 2016. Speaking with PEOPLE Now alongside his bandmates, the 44-year-old revealed that he is dedicated to making Phoenix feel special on his birthday as he grows up. “We’ll figure it out — as he gets older, we’ll have to make sure we carve out a special day for him so he doesn’t feel like it’s just swallowed up with Christmas,” says Nick. Nick has been a busy man. Following his and Vanessa’s participation in last season of Dancing with the Stars, his band is smack in the middle of touring their new Christmas album Let It Snow — with the final show date being the day before Phoenix’s birthday. “I’m literally gonna get in the car as soon as the show’s over and drive from Nevada back home so I can be there,” explains Nick, who also shares daughter Brooklyn Elisabeth, 2½, and son Camden John, 5, with his wife. Adds bandmate and brother Drew Lachey of his 7½-year-old, Hudson Nicholas, “Every time we get in the car, my son’s favorite thing to do is be DJ, so he takes my phone … and he literally goes through every single [song] and plays them all. He’s obsessed.” 98 Degrees’ Let It Snow is available for purchase now. The band’s tour continues Wednesday in Atlanta, concluding in Primm, Nevada, on Dec. 23.
