You're Going to Want to Steal Every Detail of Molly Sims' Baby Shower
LADIES WHO LUNCH
To celebrate the arrival of Molly Sims' baby girl in March, her girlfriends threw the mom-to-be a get-together at a private home in Bel Air, California, on Feb. 7. A colorful balloon arch announcing "Baby Girl Stuber" greeted guests at the pretty outdoor party, which was produced by Stefanie Cove of Yifat Oren Associates.
A beautiful long, rustic table filled with flowers and fun floating balloons from Geronimo Balloons set a chic but laid-back vibe. "Overall, I have to say I'm much more relaxed with this pregnancy. To be honest, I'm incredibly excited, slightly scared and a tiny bit anxious all at the same time," the model and actress wrote in a fun gender reveal post on her website.
Bloom amp Plume's beautiful cascading floral runner made it feel like spring came early in L.A.
On the menu, which Sims describes as "amazing": Delicious noshes from Whoa Nelly Catering, including a seasonal Southern California spring snap pea soup and grilled chicken fattoush salad.
MOM OF HONOR
A personalized chalkboard sign welcomed everyone to the pink-themed dessert table, with treats like cookies from SusieCakes and jelly beans. While Sims admits to having a sweet tooth during pregnancy, she balances it with a healthy regimen of Pilates and pre-natal yoga.
It's the stuff Pinterest dreams are made of. Annie Campbell's naked layer cake made for a sweet ending to the celebration.
Sims received thoughtful gifts like the children's book Good Night Kentucky (an homage to her home state), but the nursery most likely won't be overflowing with unnecessary toys. "Santa Claus came. Birthdays come. We pick out our toys that we want and then we give half of them to Baby2Baby," Sims told PEOPLE of her charitable strategy while donating school supplies to Children's Hospital Los Angeles in February.
"I gave a speech and cried," Sims says of her emotional day, which was made even more special when husband Scott Stuber and 2½-year-old son Brooks arrived with flowers. But the party wasn't just about gifts for the baby: Big brother-to-be Brooks received a Transformer as a surprise from his new sister.
