Now that’s a model mama!

Expectant star Molly Sims is squeezing in one last modeling gig before she welcomes her second child, a girl, in March — and the results are absolutely stunning.

The author of The Everyday Supermodel has been named the first ever ambassador for celeb fave A Pea in the Pod and will star in the maternity line’s summer 2015 campaign.

“A mother, model, actress and now author, Molly exemplifies the A Pea in the Pod mom-to-be who does it all with exceptional style,” reads the press release.

Sims, 41, shows off her growing baby bump — and her gorgeous glow! — in a series of shots featuring striped tanks, cute camisoles and chic cocktail dresses.

After the photo shoot in Tarzana, California, PEOPLE caught up with Sims, who shared her thoughts on everything from 2½-year-old son Brooks Alan and her daughter’s name to her baby buys and working with the brand.

PEOPLE: Does Brooks understand he’s getting a sister? What was his reaction when you told him it was a girl?

Molly: His first reaction was he told me he had a baby in his belly too and he didn’t really want a sister — so there we have it! It’s a work in progress.

PEOPLE: How are you preparing Brooks to be a big brother?

Molly: We are talking about her a lot and telling stories about what will happen when your baby sister comes by … inserting her into our daily conversations.

PEOPLE: What was the first thing you bought for the baby after finding out it was a girl?

Molly: I don’t buy anything because I’m superstitious, but we did go to Bonpoint and bought something gray that we won’t unwrap until she gets here!

PEOPLE: What are you most looking forward to doing with your daughter?

Molly: Girl stuff!! I can’t wait to dress her and play with her. Shopping!

PEOPLE: Where are you in the name game — do you have one already picked out? Or are you still working on it?

Molly: We’ve narrowed it down to six names.

PEOPLE: Why did you want to work with A Pea in the Pod as their ambassador?

Molly: I love that they have so many modern and beautiful pieces and I love the fit of their clothes. They work with a lot of current designers that I love, including Rachel Pally.

PEOPLE: What’s your favorite go-to maternity piece?

Molly: I love my boyfriend jeans with the secret belly panel. They’re super comfortable.

PEOPLE: What are the top three staple items every mom-to-be should have in her closet?

Molly: I have a bunch, including a tight stretch dress, black leggings, a chambray shirt, a boyfriend jacket, a maxi skirt and a tight long tank.
