Michael Phelps‘ son is already following in his footsteps.
On Sunday, former Olympic gold medalist and current NBC swimming analyst Rowdy Gaines tweeted a photo of a pair of Under Armour shoes belonging to the 31-year-old Rio-bound swimmer. Inked onto one of the insoles? Twelve-week-old Boomer Robert‘s tiny footprint.
“Loving @MichaelPhelps shoes [with] son Boomer’s foot imprint on one of them,” the caption read. “So dang cute.”

Phelps recently posted an abs-tastic Instagram photo of himself and friends at his last American practice before the kickoff of the 2016 Summer Olympics, where he will serve as a captain of the U.S. swim team alongside five of his teammates.
“Last practice on American soil complete!! Nothing like a little fun afterwards with the crew!! #number5 #letsdothis #mp #mpswim,” he captioned the snap.
Of course, baby Boomer and Phelps’ fiancée Nicole Johnson have been missing their main man as he preps for the Olympics, which begin later this week.
“Boomer & I are missing this handsome stud this morning,” she wrote next to a photo of Phelps and their son in July. “#30daystogo #butsomuchfuninbetween #groufits.”
