Megan Hilty Expecting First Child

The former Sean Saves the World and Smash star is pregnant, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

There’s a baby on the way for Megan Hilty.

The former Sean Saves the World and Smash star and husband Brian Gallagher are expecting their first child in September, Hilty’s rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The couple also shared their happy news via Twitter on Saturday morning.

“Two years ago today I met the man of my dreams and now we’re proud to announce we’re starting a family,” Hilty, 33, writes.

Add Gallagher, “Yup! Working on a new project w/ @meganhilty! It’s been in development for months now [and] is due in September! Working title: #GallagherBaby!”

Hilty and Gallagher, 34, who is also an actor, met in a fitness class when they were both on Broadway.

The couple wed last November at the Venetian chapel in Las Vegas.

“We were so excited to be married that we skipped the engagement altogether!” Hilty told PEOPLE at the time.
