Marlon Anderson on his family's transition to move

Major League Baseball player Marlon Anderson joined the Los Angeles Dodgers on August 31. He recently spoke to about the transition his family has gone through moving to a new team and town.

“The toughest part of moving to a new team, though, is that my family has to adjust, too. My wife, Shadia, and I just had our third child about a year ago. We also have a 6-year-old [daughter, Zoe] and 4-year-old [son, Caleb Ace]. It’s not easy moving to a different town each year and getting settled in. But my wife and kids are great. They love traveling and they’ve become used to making adjustments. She’s not a woman who panics a lot and she takes on all the responsibility with ease. She keeps everything safe and sound at home for the kids and me,” said the 32-year-old. "Whatever team I am playing for is the kids’ favorite team. They get a kick out of the playroom on each team. They get to make new friends every year and meet new people. It’s a treat for them to experience new things every day.”
