Mark-Paul Gosselaar takes daddy duty seriously — especially when it comes to the safety of his four children.

“A big thing for me is helmets. I grew up racing motocross and bicycles and all that stuff. So helmets to me is a big, big thing,” Gosselaar, 41, told PEOPLE at Safe Kids Day in Los Angeles on Sunday.

He pleads, “Every time you get on your bikes or scooters or skateboards, please put on your helmet.”

Aside from riding bikes, other activities in the Gosselaar household — he and wife Catriona are parents to 8-week-old daughter Lachlyn Hope and 18-month-old son Dekker Edward, while the actor is also dad to Ava Lorenn, 9, and Michael Charles, 11 — include reading.

And according to the proud dad, he’s passed on his passion for books to his boys.

“My son always reaches for Where the Wild Things Are. I think he’s a little bit like Max, in the book. That’s his go-to book right now,” he says, adding that his own childhood favorite was The Boy with the Red Balloon.

“I wanted to be called Sebastian,” Gosselaar recalls.

When asked if the couple planned to add any more children to their brood, Gosselaar didn’t hesitate before saying that his clan is now complete. “Four’s enough. Done,” he shares.

Another thing Gosselaar is done with? Reprising the role of Zack Morris. “I think it’s fun what we did on [the Tonight Show]. I don’t know if it’d be fun to do something like what Full House is doing because it was characters we played,” he explains. “Those were hours of makeup to look like our parts.”

He adds of a Saved By the Bell revival, “It doesn’t feel organic.”
