The star revealed the sex of her baby on the way at a shower with her closest girlfriends

Blue Bloods actress Marisa Ramirez is thinking pink: The star is expecting a baby girl!

Ramirez revealed the happy news at an intimate baby shower April 17 in New York City with her best girlfriends, including costars Bridget Moynahan, Abigail Hawk and actress Erin Cummings.

Held at the Gallery event space inside the Langham Hotel, the baby shower was vintage-themed and featured a champagne reception with florals by UrbanStems.

“This was a complete surprise,” Ramirez, who wore a Voodoo Vixen dress, told PEOPLE earlier this year about her pregnancy. “Some mornings I wake up and forget I’m pregnant! It just seems like it was meant to be — a happy surprise.”

At the time, she was still holding off on finding out the sex of her baby, due in May. “I’m sure it won’t be much longer until we can’t take the suspense anymore,” she said.
