"Grateful to God and my family for our perfect baby girl that came to complete our family just in time for Christmas," Marcela Valladolid tells PEOPLE
Marcela Valladolid‘s bun is out of the oven!
The star of the Emmy-nominated Food Network show The Kitchen and fiancé Philip Button welcomed their second child together on Monday, Dec. 5, at 4:55 p.m, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
Born in San Diego, California, daughter Anna Carina Button-Valladolid weighed 6 lbs., 2 oz.
“Grateful to God and my family for our perfect baby girl that came to complete our family just in time for Christmas,” Valladolid, 38, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Anna is strong and a fighter, and her older brothers, dad and mom are absolutely in love with her.”
The baby girl joins the couple’s son David, 20 months. Valladolid — who will release her third cookbook, Casa Marcela, in spring 2017 — is also mom to son Fausto, 12.

Valladolid discussed her pregnancy in a November blog post for PEOPLE, focusing on the difficulties of balancing a career and motherhood.
“I remember that, even though I grew up in a different culture, leaving to find my way and build a career (while uncommon at that time and incredibly hard) was an important step for me and for my family,” she wrote.
“I’m trying to build something here — not just for me, but for [my children]. Not just for financial security, but so they are able to see the results of hard work.”
Also in November, the celebrity chef shared photos of her daughter’s unexpectedly pink nursery exclusively with PEOPLE, touching on the fact that her culture played a big part in the décor.
“I always like to add one or two elements that remind me and my children about our Mexican culture, so I added two gorgeous pillows … made from hand-embroidered Mexican textiles,” she explained at the time.
