Lukas Graham frontman Lukas Forchhammer is basking in the glow of newfound fatherhood.
The Danish “7 years” singer and his longtime girlfriend, Marie-Louise “Rillo” Schwartz, welcomed a baby girl in September. And the doting dad was happy to share the details about his daughter — including her name, which had yet to be revealed.
“Her name is Viola,” Forchhammer, 28, told PEOPLE Friday night of his 10-week-old daughter at the 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles. “We haven’t kept it secret. It just hasn’t come up.”

When asked if the name has any special significance, Forchhammer was quick to give the triple meaning of Viola’s moniker — although none of them apply directly to her.
“It’s a chubby violin, but it’s also a flower and a color. But we just liked the name,” he shares.
Regardless, Viola seems to have already captured her dad’s heart.
“She already has a personality, but I think that every baby has their own personality, and it’s pretty awesome too,” he says.
Not only has she won him over, but according to Forchhammer, Viola makes his life complete.
“I’ve never needed presents. Since my father died, I didn’t feel like I needed anything. Now, I have a daughter and I really don’t need anything.”
Adds the singer, whose hit “7 Years” is nominated for three Grammys, “Life feels a little more perfect in some sense. It’s very bougie, very cliché, but I guess that’s why they call them clichés: because they’re true.”
