Lisa Loeb is getting into the Christmas spirit!

The “Stay (I Missed You)” singer is teaming up with Amazon Studios for a second time to release an all-new song, the “Christmas Cookie Song,” for the Amazon Original holiday special If You Give a Mouse a Christmas Cookieand PEOPLE has an exclusive sneak peek.

“The Give a Mouse a Cookie books have been absolute favorites in my house!” says Loeb, 48, who is mom to son Emet Kuli, 4, and daughter Lyla Rose, 6½ .

“I love how my kids are inspired to follow each step of the way with Mouse and his friends on their big adventures in their daily lives.”

If You Give a Mouse a Christmas Cookie follows the adventures of Mouse and his animal pals, who are on a mission to save a holiday pageant while keeping the Christmas spirit intact.

“When I was given the opportunity to compose music for the original Amazon Studio series based on these books by Laura Numeroff, I jumped at the chance,” Loeb says. “It has been so much fun collaborating with Ken Scarborough and Rich Jacques, coming up with songs for the characters to sing in this animated show.”

Adds Loeb, whose newest album was released in October, “I’ve also recorded my own versions of each song for an album collection released later with Amazon. I can’t wait for everyone to see and hear it.”

“Christmas Cookie Song” will be available exclusively to download and stream on both Amazon Music Unlimited and Prime Music starting Friday.
