Jonathan Cheban Says New Mom Kim Kardashian Is 'Doing Amazing'

The reality star talks to PEOPLE about Kardashian is handling the transition to motherhood

Kim Kardashian‘s best friend, reality star Jonathan Cheban is very excited for her new addition.

“Kim is doing amazing and couldn’t be happier,” Cheban exclusively told PEOPLE at the Daytime Emmy Awards on Sunday. “I’m so thrilled for her and Kanye.”

Kardashian, 32, welcomed a baby girl on Saturday with boyfriend Kanye West. Leading up to her delivery, Cheban, 39, spent the week with Kardashian at her Los Angeles home. He also visited her in the hospital on both Saturday and Sunday.

“Kim was glowing,” Cheban told PEOPLE.

Meanwhile, a source adds that while the duo was filming the show, Kardashian “was feeling fine and working all week. They were having fun and laughing during filming.”

Cheban shared a photo of the pair on Instagram on Thursday, writing “Fun day of filming with kimkardashian #AintNothinGonnaStopUs.”
