The Scandal star has previously spoken to PEOPLE about the joys and rewards of motherhood.
“It’s just made my life better in every way,” Washington said at the 2015 release of a new edition of her go-to pregnancy book, Expecting 411: Clear Answers & Smart Advice for Your Pregnancy.
And just a few months after giving birth to Isabelle, Washington shared her tips for getting her pre-pregnancy body back while attending a Scandal premiere event.
“[Pilates] is such a great way to get in shape in a loving way,” she said. “I feel like I’m both challenging myself and healing my body at the same time.”
