Emily Blunt was not going to let her pregnancy keep her from filming Girl on the Train.
“She was not giving a word up, and I was like, ‘Why are you behaving so weird in rehearsal?’ ” Theroux, 45, tells PEOPLE Now. “She was not wanting to jump or run … and this was the woman who did Edge of Tomorrow, this was the woman who has done Sicario, so I know she can handle herself.”
And the not-so-subtle hints kept coming when Theroux and Blunt took a break from rehearsal.
“We went back to my place and I was like, ‘Do you want a drink? Do you want a beer or something?’ ” he says. “And she was like ‘No, I’m just having a green juice and coconut water.’ I was like ‘What’s going on here?’ “

Evans, 37, recalls the time Blunt told him she was expecting now-3-month-old daughter Violet — just moments before filming an intense scene.
“It was a funny moment,” he says. “I remember her telling me and whispering it in my ear, ‘No one knows yet. I thought I might want to tell you before you throw me around the room.’ “
And the actor says he appreciated the information before their dramatic scene together.
“I’m glad she did tell me,” he says. “Not that anything we were doing would have been that dangerous, but it was good to know.”
Blunt, 33, welcomed her second daughter with husband John Krasinski, 36, in July. She had a similar pregnancy experience with her older daughter, 2½-year-old Hazel, during the filming of Into the Woods.
“In a way, the part was the only one in Hollywood I could still have done because it didn’t matter if I was a bit big — The Baker’s Wife eats a lot of buns!” she joked in an interview with C magazine in April. “But by the end of the shoot, I was about seven months and hiding behind every tree in the woods.”
