Ella Impressed By Co-star Miley Cyrus, Says John Travolta

Aside from starring in movies that have earned more than two billion dollars in the United States alone, actor John Travolta has also managed to accumulate an impressive list of co-stars over the years, including Olivia Newton-John, Kirstie Alley, and Uma Thurman. While John’s resume may not have created much excitement from his daughter Ella Bleu, the 8 ½-year-old’s feelings immediately changed when she found out her father was to work on his first animated film — Bolt — alongside Miley Cyrus. A fan of the Hannah Montana star, Ella "adores" Miley and fortunately, the 15-year-old daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus was quite flattered. John shares,
"Miley has been so gracious toward Ella, inviting her to meet her sister and share the common realities of a famous family and all these wonderful things."
As John’s new role continued to impress his daughter, her amazement grew as the actor "became very popular, very quickly" after revealing to Ella that he would be recording the movie’s title track with the pop sensation. Although John, 54, "had done a couple of songs" with Carly Simon, he calls the duet with Miley his "re-introduction" to the music industry since — a part from Hairspray — his last days singing were as Danny Zuko in Grease.
In addition to Ella, John also has son Jett, 16, with his wife Kelly Preston.
Bolt is in theaters Friday.
