The proud mom’s Instagram account is packed with adorable shots of baby Crew, including several from the family’s recent trip to Tulum, Mexico.
Sharing a handful of memories from the family trip last month, Gaines gave fans a look at the milestone moment when Crew got to feel sand for the first time.
In the image, the infant can be seen with his little feet planted in the sand, waiting for the waves to hit the shore. Crew, who was wearing a black-and-white striped onesie, appeared to be focused on the water as he was held up by his big sister.
“Leaving Tulum with rest minds and full hearts,” Gaines, 40, captioned the photo series.
Gaines also shared a sweet moment of Crew in the sand on her Instagram Stories writing, “First time to feel the sand and ocean on his toes.”

Of course, Joanna isn’t the only member of her family head over her heels in love with Crew — his siblings are “completely obsessed” with him!
And the Magnolia star couldn’t relate to their feeling more. “A year ago, he wasn’t in our lives. Now you’re like, ‘How?’ ” she mused. “I think what’s so crazy about kids is by the time they hit the ground … it’s almost like we always knew he was coming, and this was his time.”
Gaines went on to share that her and husband Chip’s older children are “the best,” and have “the sweetest” approach to bonding with baby Crew.
“[I love] just watching them,” she shared. “Even when he’s crying and Drake will [say], ‘Hey, I’ll go.’ We have the stroller outside, and they’ll go all the way to the gate, back and forth.”
“[Crew] loves being outside, so it’s not a thing where I have to ask them,” she added, praising her youngest child’s big brothers and sisters. “They just say, ‘Can I do this?’ ‘Of course.’ “
