Jessa (Duggar) Seewald is getting the parenting seal of approval from big sister Jill (Duggar) Dillard.

Jill, mother to baby Israel, penned an open letter to her younger sister, who became a first-time mother after welcoming her son Spurgeon Elliot Seewald on Nov. 5.

Jill, 24, was not in Arkansas for the birth, as she, Israel and husband Derick Dillard are living in Central America, but she says she felt as though she were there with her sister.

“It was such a joy to get to be apart of the birth from Central America, thank you. You were a champ! I felt those contractions with you,” she wrote on “I’m so excited to both be on this motherhood journey together! I pray our boys will love Jesus with their heart, soul, mind and strength and love others more than themselves!”

Israel, 7 months, has already FaceTimed with his new cousin, and Jill wrote that she wants that to continue.

“We will have to let them FaceTime frequently while we are down here. It will be so fun to see them experiencing things and going thru similar stages within a few months of each other. I’m sure since they were about the same size at birth they’ll be sharing clothes too,” Jill wrote.

On Friday, Jessa shared photo of husband Ben spending some quality time with their son.

Jessa 23, opens up about motherhood in this week’s PEOPLE cover story.

“I can’t believe he’s really ours,” the TLC reality star tells PEOPLE. “It is so amazing. He’s a miracle.”
