After giving birth to daughter Everly, Jenna Dewan Tatum relied on a vegan diet for her post-baby slimdown, but she says husband Channing Tatum could never go without meat.

Jenna, who celebrated her Ocean Drive magazine cover at SL Miami at The James Royal Palm on Tuesday, said that Channing is “a meat eater,” adding, “We are complete polar opposites that way.”

But the Magic Mike actor manages to accompany his wife on her animal product-free eating expeditions.

“Sometimes I can drag him to my vegetarian vegan restaurants – he politely eats, then promptly goes home and eats what he really wants!” Jenna says. “Opposites attract!”

At just 7 months, Everly has already inherited her mother’s eating habits … for now. “She eats fruits and veggies and nothing else,” Jenna says. “I just want her to be healthy, choose healthy food habits. We’ll let her decide.”

And when she’s not focused on her enviable figure – “Working out while pregnant – that was the trick!” she says – the Witches of East End star is finding balance in her life as mom.

“I’m trying to do eight million things in an hour. She doesn’t like to nap longer than an hour so I’ve got an hour to get everything I want done!” But at the Tatum house, things are “very homey and fun. There’s lot sof music on and lots of laughter – it’s great.”
