He and fiancée Erin Hurley “are proud to announce the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Nora Gail Bauman,” his Facebook page reads. “Everyone is happy and healthy!” A photograph of Bauman, 28, being rushed to an ambulance following the blast went viral in April 2013. From his hospital bed, Bauman helped authorities identify the bombing suspects. On the one-year anniversary of the bombings, Bauman announced that he and Hurley, whom he was supporting in her race on that fateful day, were engaged and expecting their first child. “My mom loves it. My dad’s going crazy,” he said. “I just want to be a good dad.” Want more stories like this? Sign up for our newsletter and other special offers: sign me up Thank you for signing up!
