Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen‘s 3½-year-old son Sid loves his new baby brother Lazlo, 7 weeks, but he’s taking a little time to find a balance — and his parents are taking the brunt of it.

The 39-year-old star of Freeform’s Angry Angel and new dad of two stopped by the PEOPLE Now studios to chat about his family life as of late, including how he and Mollen are handling their older son’s adjustment period.

“He likes Lazlo — the good news is if he’s having issues, which we think he is, he’s not taking it out on Lazlo, which is good,” says the actor. “He is, however, acting like a crazy person with Jenny and I. He’s definitely not thrilled with us.”

Biggs and Mollen, 38, are having to field quite the reactions from the toddler during the latter’s transition into his role as a big brother.

“This morning, [Sid] clawed my face,” admits the Orange Is the New Black star. “I have makeup [on] now, but I was like, ‘Really, dude? You knew I had to go do press today and you decided to claw my beautiful face.’ ”

Fortunately for Sid’s parents, Christmas is right around the corner — which means Kris Kringle is a great motivator to get him to behave.

“I am milking the s— out of, like, ‘You sure you don’t wanna listen to me right now? Because Santa’s watching,’ ” says Biggs. “When he’s really misbehaving or not listening, I’ll whip my phone out and I’ll be like, ‘I’m gonna record you. I’m gonna text Santa.’ ”

“He’s like, ‘Sorry Daddy!’ And I’m like, ‘Whoa, this is genius,‘ ” continues the American Pie actor, who tells PEOPLE this is the first year the concept of Santa Claus has really resonated with Sid. “What happens on Dec. 26, I have no idea, but it’s a good two months’ worth of obeying.”

Angry Angel premieres Monday, Nov. 27, at 9 p.m. ET on Freeform.
