Family Matters: Jamie Lynn Spears & Daughter Maddie's Sweetest Mother-Daughter Pics
WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!
Maddie's finally a big sister! On April 11, Jamie Lynn and hubby Jamie Watson welcomed daughter Ivey Joan Watson into the world. The family gathered around the newborn for their first family portraits, released exclusively to PEOPLE. “We are beyond excited to welcome this beautiful baby girl to our family!” Spears told PEOPLE.
"Pregnant + shopping = not my best idea," Jamie Lynn wrote in the caption of this bathroom mirror selfie. Looks like Maddie was happy enough with her haul though—and at least they both look cozy!
ON THE MEND
Following an ATV accident at a family home, the singer’s then-8-year-old daughter Maddie regained consciousness on February 7, 2017. “She is aware of her surroundings and recognizes those family members who have kept a round-the-clock vigil since the accident,” the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Department told PEOPLE in a statement provided by a Spears family rep.

Jamie Watson (pictured) — whom Jamie Lynn married in 2014 — helps raise 9-year-old Maddie. “It just wasn’t the healthiest situation for any of us,” Jamie Lynn told PEOPLE of splitting from her “first love” and Maddie’s dad, Casey Aldridge. “So accepting that and moving forward and working on myself allowed me to be open to finding the right person.”
"She's a very happy, content little girl, and there's nothing more a parent could ask for," Jamie Lynn said about her daughter. "That's my most proud accomplishment out of anything and always will be."

WHAT AN HONOR
Maddie joins her famous mom, who was honored for cowriting the Jana Kramer hit, "I Got the Boy," by the Nashville Songwriters Association International.
"She's like, 'Hey, am I gonna get to see Fifth Harmony?' or 'Oh my gosh, Ariana Grande is gonna be here!' " Jamie Lynn said of taking her daughter (pictured here at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards) to star-studded events. "But we keep her really grounded about that." She added: "As long as you remind your kids to be humble and appreciative; that's really important."

TYING THE KNOT
In 2014, the country singer wed her longtime love, Jamie, in New Orleans, with daughter Maddie serving as flower girl on the special day.
LIKE MOTHER, LIKE DAUGHTER
"I feel like I've raised her with a lot of honesty, but I've also raised her with a lot of love," the "Sleepover" crooner told PEOPLE.

FEEL THE MUSIC
In March 2016, Jamie Lynn made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry, where she performed her music for the first time. "When I'm not working, I'm being a mom and a wife," she told PEOPLE. "I hope to be on a big piece of land, surrounded by the people I love, doing what I love."
"It reminds me of exactly why I'm still driven to do this … for this baby girl," Jamie Lynn said of the motivation behind her songwriting and music career.
