There’s a baby on the way for Jaime Ray Newman.

The Red Widow star and her husband, writer/director Guy Nattiv, are expecting their first child — a daughter — this summer, Newman’s rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

“We are through the moon to announce we are having a baby girl,” the actress, 34, tells PEOPLE.

“We’ve had a very international relationship, with Guy being from Israel and me from Los Angeles, so she will be a little world traveler. We are beyond thrilled.”

Newman and Nattiv, 39, were married in Tel Aviv, Israel.

In addition to her just-closed play The Gift, in which she starred opposite James Van Der Beek, Newman is also known for roles on Grimm, CSI: NY, NCIS, Drop Dead Diva, Eureka, Eastwick, Veronica Mars and General Hospital.
