The former Twilight star, 31, and his wife Sheila Hafsadi welcomed their second child, a baby girl, on Tuesday, May 31, he announced on social media. Daughter Presley Bowie Rathbone weighed in at 8 lbs., 2 oz. “Today!! Our daughter is born!! Welcomed into the world at 8:38 a.m. with love & joy,” Rathbone tweeted along with a photo of the proud parents moments after their newborn’s arrival. In March, Rathbone announced there was another baby on the way when he posted a black-and-white throwback photo of his wife during her first pregnancy on Instagram. In the sweet snap, his wife is all smiles as she shows off her baby belly in a bikini while sitting at a table across from the actor. “#tbt to our first pregnancy. 8-9 months in this [photo] by @iamnikkireed. Now we’re 7 months along! #pregnantagain yay!” he wrote alongside the picture. Want all the latest pregnancy and birth announcements, plus celebrity mom blogs? The dad of two hinted his daughter’s arrival was close when he shared a snap of Hafsadi on Monday. “The wifey at #39weeks and one day!” Rathbone captioned the shot. “Soon, baby, soon…” The couple, who met in 2011 at a one of Rathbone’s former band’s concerts, are already parents to 3½-year-old son Monroe Jackson VI. But the actor and musician has made it no secret that he has wanted to add to his brood. “I grew up with all girls, so if I had a little daughter that would be amazing,” Rathbone told PEOPLE in 2013 shortly after he and Hafsadi were married. “But either way, I don’t mind. We kind of hope that we’ll have twins, a little boy and girl. That way we have them both done, and that’s it!” “It was one of those things. I always said I believed in love at first sight, but I never really had that feeling before [Hafsadi],” Rathbone told PEOPLE previously about meeting his wife for the first time. “We are dedicated completely to one another,” he added. — Jen Juneau and Anya Leon
